A LITTLE ABOUT ME
Favorite type of haircut? I love to enhance medium to long hair by adding long layers and texture to give more movement. I also enjoy changing it up by doing a fun textured lob and allow guests to feel good with different haircuts that still give them easy maintenance.
Favorite color services e to perform? Why? I absolutely love color services and the science behind it all. It is amazing what you can achieve and change with different techniques. One of my favorite techniques is balayage. Painting the hair to give more of a natural sun-kissed glow is so pleasing to the eye.
Favorite “other” service to perform? I believe that to have the best hair you must also have the healthiest hair. I love to offer guests treatments based on the needs of the hair. This could be a treatment that is nourishing, and hydrating to the hair and is very important upkeep.
Favorite education class in the last year? How has this impacted you as a professional behind the chair? Last year I took a class on hand-tied weft extensions and learned how to install them with the proper care. Extensions are great for providing not only length, but also fullness. This has given me the opportunity to offer my clients a service that allows for a completely new look at the client's request. It's a passion of mine to be able to offer such diverse services and styles to my clients.
Why did you choose this career? I chose this career and industry simply because I have always known I wanted to do something that would allow people to feel good. I have always enjoyed the idea of being creative and am constantly learning to challenge myself every day.
Hobbies outside your profession? You can find me most days spending time with my dog outdoors soaking up the sunshine, as well as exploring all the surrounding areas Colorado has to offer.
