**A LITTLE ABOUT ME Who do you work best with?

I work best with guests of any age who are excited get their hair done! I really enjoy the consultations with guests to get a good read on what their personal style is, so their hair can reflect that. Whether the guest is more laid back & wants a lived-in hair color/cut or they want something bold & trendy, I want to make them feel beautiful, inside & out!

Why did you choose this career?

I chose this career because this field is always evolving & there is always room to grow. We get to put our creativity into technical and problem solving skills to create a new outlook and hairstyle for our guest. We also have the power to uplift and show self love to our guest.

Who is your biggest professional inspiration and why?

My biggest professional inspiration is definitely my mom and her hairdresser friends. They have all been in the game for 35-40+ years. It was so fun growing up around the salon environment, I knew from a young age this was the right career for me. Upon graduating beauty school, I started working at a new salon where all these ladies joined back together and they really helped me get my start. It was awesome to have so much support from people who have watched me grow up & really wanted me to succeed

Hobbies outside of your profession?

When I’m not working, you can usually find me doing something outdoors. Whether is a hike, a bike ride, or playing on a recreation sports team I love staying active. If I need a chill day, you can find me on the couch hanging with my 2 cats

My favorite type of haircut

I am loving this new trend of the layered haircuts! The wolf cut, the shags, curtain bangs are awesome styles and with so many variations, it can inspire people to try out a more layered style. It feels like we get to step back into the 70’s & 80’s with some of these styles and I am loving it. What’s old is new again!
