Favorite color service to perform?
Fashion colors are my favorite color service by far! I love the creativity that comes with it and making my clients feel like a brand new person when they leave the salon.
Favorite Education class in the last year?
I had the opportunity to go to the Chicago Hair Show in April 2022 and took a shag haircut class. Shags are so in right now and it helped me to learn techniques that are new and fun. I love that I am able to say YES when someone asks for a shag. Shags can be catered to everyone - they can be more tame with texture or more bold - so don't be afraid by the name!
Favorite other service to perform?
I love doing updos, whether that be for prom, weddings or you just want to feel amazing about yourself! Updos let me use my creativity and make people feel amazing on their special day.
Why did you choose this career?
I initially chose this career because I always loved seeing all of the beautiful hairstyles walk out at my childhood hairstylist’s salon. It was so interesting and I always watched the stylists and wanted to know what they know. I will never leave this career because I love watching peoples eyes when they see their hair; knowing that they feel like themselves and love it.
Whats one thing you'd like all your future guests to know?
I am here for YOU. I will always listen to what you want for your hair. This is your hair - not mine. I will provide verbal critiques before doing the service if I genuinely think you would not like something once it's done, but I will always do what you want!
