Cancellation, Rescheduling, and No Show Policies

To honor the time and expertise of our practitioners, The Switch Suites maintains the following scheduling policies. By booking an appointment, you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Deposit Policy

  • A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure all appointments.
  • Your deposit is applied toward your total at checkout.
  • Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances, including cancellations, rescheduling, or no-shows, unless otherwise required by law.

Cancellations or Rescheduling (48+ Hours Notice)

  • We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • With proper notice, your deposit may be transferred one time to a new appointment date.
  • Any additional rescheduling after the first transfer may require an additional deposit.

Late Cancellations (Under 48 Hours)

Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time will result in:

  • Deposit forfeited
  • Deposit not transferable or applicable to future bookings
  • A new deposit will be required to rebook

This protects our practitioners from lost income due to unfillable appointment times.

No-Show Policy

A “no-show” is defined as failing to arrive for your appointment without any prior communication. No-shows will result in:

  • Deposit forfeited
  • Potential requirement of full prepayment for all future services
  • Repeated no-shows may result in the inability to book with us in the future

Late Arrivals

We allow a 15-minute grace period. After 15 minutes:

  • Your service may be shortened out of respect for the next client, without a price adjustment, or
  • Your appointment may need to be canceled or rescheduled

In either case: Your deposit will be forfeited and cannot be transferred to a future appointment.

Appointment Reminders

Our system sends automated reminders via text and/or email. These reminders are a courtesy; it is each client’s responsibility to remember their appointment time.

Card on File Requirement

A valid card on file is required to book and hold your appointment. By booking, you authorize The Switch Suites to charge your card in accordance with this policy.

Illness, Emergencies & Special Circumstances

We understand that unexpected events occur. Please contact us as soon as possible if you are sick or experiencing an emergency. Accommodation is not guaranteed and is at the discretion of The Switch Suites.

Agreement

By booking your appointment, you acknowledge that:

  • You have read and understand this policy
  • You agree to all terms listed above
  • You authorize The Switch Suites to enforce these policies and charge your card when applicable
Refund and Return Policy

Services

All service sales are final and non-refundable. Results vary based on individual skin, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare and home regimented products.

Products

Unopened product returns accepted within 14 days of purchase. Opened or used products are non-refundable for safety reasons.

Allergic Reactions: In the rare event that you experience an allergic reaction to one of our products, please discontinue use immediately. We kindly ask that you email clear photos of the reaction, along with a brief description of symptoms, to concierge@thewswitchsuites.com within 48 hours of noticing the reaction. This information allows us to consult with our brand representatives to better understand the cause and ensure your safety.

Once your photos and details have been reviewed, we are happy to offer either a refund or an exchange for another product. For exchanges, any price difference between products will be the responsibility of the client and must be paid at the time of the exchange.

Please note that allergic reactions are highly individual, and while we can assist with returns or exchanges, we cannot guarantee results or prevent future reactions.

Gift Cards

All gift card sales are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

Packages, Memberships & Prepaid Services Packages are non-refundable but may be transferred once to another client upon written request. Packages unused can be used to purchase products.

Spa Policies / House Rules
  • Arrival: Please arrive 5–10 minutes prior to your appointment to allow time to settle in and begin your experience calmly and unrushed.
  • Intake Forms: All electronic Client Intake Forms must be completed before your appointment time.
  • Guest Policy: To ensure a personalized and private experience, we kindly ask that you do not bring additional guests or children. We understand that unexpected circumstances arise; in those cases, one quiet guest may accompany you.
  • Phones: Please silence your phone upon entering to preserve the tranquility of the space.
  • Shoes: We invite you to remove your shoes upon entry for added comfort and cleanliness within our spa environment.
  • Right to Decline Service: We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if we determine it is in the best interest of the client, the practitioner, or the integrity of our practice.
  • Minors: Guests under 18 must have a parent or guardian present for the consultation portion of the appointment.
  • Smoking: Smoking or vaping is not permitted on the premises.
  • Noise Level: Multiple services may be happening concurrently. Please use soft, spa-appropriate voices to honor the relaxation of all guests.

The services provided at The Switch Suites are non-medical cosmetic and wellness treatments. Our practitioners are licensed estheticians and holistic providers—not medical doctors. All treatments, recommendations, and information shared during or after your appointment are for cosmetic, educational, and wellness purposes only and should not be considered medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

By receiving services, you acknowledge the following:

1. Not Medical Care

Treatments, products, and recommendations offered at The Switch Suites are non-medical and should not be considered medical treatment or therapy.

We do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical conditions or skin diseases.

2. Client Responsibility

You understand that it is your responsibility to:

Inform us of any allergies, sensitivities, medications, skincare routines, or contraindications

Consult with a licensed medical provider regarding any medical concerns, conditions, or questions before receiving services

3. Contraindications & Safety

Certain treatments may be contraindicated based on your health history.

We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services if we believe it is in the best interest of your safety, health, or the integrity of our practice.

4. No Guarantees of Results

Individual results vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Skincare outcomes depend on factors such as skin type, home care routine, lifestyle, and consistency.

5. Risks & Reactions

While reactions are rare, you acknowledge the potential for temporary redness, irritation, allergic reactions, breakout purging, or sensitivity following treatments or products.

By proceeding, you accept these risks and agree that The Switch Suites is not liable for reactions that arise from:

Undisclosed allergies or conditions

Failure to follow pre- or post-care instructions

Use of outside products or treatments before/after your service

6. Post-Care Compliance

You agree to follow provided aftercare instructions and seek medical attention if you experience persistent or severe reactions.

7. No Claims or Promises

The Switch Suites does not make medical claims regarding the efficacy of treatments, tools, or products.

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels involve the application of exfoliating acids to the skin. By receiving a peel, you acknowledge:

Temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness, frosting, peeling, or breakouts may occur.

More intense reactions may occur if you are using (or recently used) retinoids, exfoliants, antibiotics, acne medications, or have had sun exposure.

You agree to avoid picking, peeling, excessive sweating, steam, sun exposure, exfoliants, and retinoids for the recommended period of time.

You understand that hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, or irritation can occur—especially when aftercare instructions are not followed.

You confirm you are not pregnant, nursing (unless cleared), or using Accutane/Isotretinoin.

Results vary depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and homecare routine.

Microchanneling / ProCell

Microchanneling is a collagen-stimulating treatment that creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin.

By receiving this treatment, you acknowledge:

Redness, warmth, tightness, dryness, pinpoint bleeding, or mild swelling may occur.

More intense reactions may occur if proper aftercare is not followed.

You agree to avoid sun exposure, sweating, makeup, retinoids, exfoliants, active skincare, and heat exposure for the recommended period.

You acknowledge that photosensitivity may occur, and SPF must be used daily.

Clients with autoimmune disorders, active acne, keloid history, pregnancy, or certain medications may not be candidates.

Results vary and cannot be guaranteed; multiple sessions may be necessary.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning uses a sterile blade to exfoliate dead skin and remove vellus hair.

By receiving dermaplaning, you acknowledge:

Temporary redness, sensitivity, dryness, or breakouts may occur.

Minor nicks or scrapes are rare but possible.

Hair may appear more noticeable as it grows back due to blunt ends, but the texture and thickness of hair do not change.

You agree to follow all aftercare, including avoiding exfoliants and active ingredients for 72 hours.

Dermaplaning is not recommended for active acne, open lesions, or certain sensitivities.

Facial Lymphatic Drainage

This gentle modality supports detoxification and fluid movement.

You acknowledge:

Mild flushing, warmth, or increased urination may occur.

Clients with active infection, recent illness, fever, blood clots, heart conditions, kidney issues, or uncontrolled medical conditions may not be candidates.

This service is for wellness purposes only and is not a medical lymphatic treatment.

Facial Sculpting (Buccal + Toning Techniques)

Sculpting techniques include muscular manipulation, intraoral massage, and lifting techniques.

By receiving this treatment, you acknowledge:

Temporary tenderness, swelling, or soreness in the face or jaw may occur.

Buccal (intraoral) massage involves gloved work inside the mouth.

Clients with TMJ disorders, active infection, recent dental procedures, cold sores, or jaw tension may require clearance or may not be candidates.

This treatment is non-medical and results vary.

Microcurrent

Microcurrent uses low-level electrical current to tone facial muscles.

By receiving microcurrent, you acknowledge:

A slight tingling sensation may occur.

Clients with epilepsy, pacemakers, metal implants, active acne, pregnancy (unless cleared), or certain medical conditions may not be candidates.

Results are cumulative and not guaranteed.

Microcurrent is cosmetic and does not replace medical treatment.

Contraindications

You understand that the following may restrict eligibility for services:

Active illness or infection

Open wounds or undiagnosed lesions

Certain autoimmune conditions

Recent sunburn or recent cosmetic procedures

Use of medications that thin the skin or increase sensitivity

Pregnancy or nursing (depending on treatment)

Recent injectables or surgery

Accutane use within the last 6–12 months (varies by modality)

Clients must disclose any and all conditions before treatment.

Assumption of Risk

By receiving services, you voluntarily assume any risks associated with cosmetic and wellness treatments and release The Switch Suites and its practitioners from liability for reactions, contraindications, or unwanted outcomes that result from:
